DataCove 8000L is designed for large scale networks with demanding data storage requirements. This powerhouse is based on the latest release of the DataCove Operating System. DataCove 8000L uses better compression and encryption to meet the demanding needs of enterprise networks. Each DataCove 8000L is bundled with a 16 Tape Library to expand its total useable storage to over 16 TB. An optional 30 Tape Library upgrade is also available to provide over 30 TB of data storage.  Automated tape changing capability of the library systems eliminates manual handling of permanent WORM media.

Expandable Modular Design

DataCove 8000L is expandable and can be scaled to larger systems with the use of DataCove 8000X.  The X Model expands the CPU, memory and hard drive to allow efficient archiving and compliance of massive networks. DataCove 8000X works in tandem with the main unit to load-balance all operations creating an efficient and extremely powerful data collection system.

If you need even more power and space due to your VLS network, simply add the appropriate number of DataCove 8000X units to DataCove 8000L  (limit of 4 total units), and your solution can handle 40,000+ email accounts from one easy-to-use interface.

Enterprise Class Equipment and Management

All DataCove servers are designed and built to the highest standards. All models are ROHS compliant for worldwide use. The DataCove 8000L is true enterprise class equipment. The core server is based on the Intel McKay Creek Storage Chassis. This combined with RAID 5 / RAID 6 hard drive arrays, two Intel Quad Core Xeon Processors, 16 GB ECC Server Ram, Intel backplane, huge power supply and our own trademark Operating System will provide you with years or reliable and powerful performance. Hot Swap Disk Bays allow for easy disk replacement for minimal downtime.  The DC8000L also comes with the Intel Remote Management Module allowing you complete integration into your SNMP network control platforms and direct access to the hardware systems / motherboard on the server.
